2007 Preliminary University Avenue Corridor Plan

Several years ago, a preliminary plan was prepared to guide development in the University Avenue Corridor. The plan was written by Milwaukee consulting firm Planning and Design Institute, Inc. (PDI), working with an advisory committee. [PDI is now part of the engineering and design firm GRAEF.] After presentation of the plan it became clear that more neighborhood discussion was needed to ensure that the plan represented the neighborhood's vision for the corridor. The RNA secured help from city planning staff to work with the neighborhood to complete the planning process. The new process officially began at the RNA Spring Meeting on May 19, 2010. The following documents refer to the original (PDI) planning process.
