We work with city officials and staff on developing equitable and appropriate solutions. We provide leadership and education on neighborhood traffic and parking issues.
Sustainability Committee. Chair: OPEN
The The Sustainability Committee serves as a neighborhood resource for promoting sustainable, green practices by the neighborhood as a whole, individual residences, and neighborhood businesses. Our goal is to increase the reuse and recycling of materials, the reduction of carbon emissions, and other green practices.
University Relations Committee. Chair: Laura Rose
The University Relations Committee monitors impacts of UW actions on our neighborhood and works toward an equitable solution for all. Issues include development, Camp Randall events, parking, traffic, boundaries, and student behavior. Each year the Committee — in collaboration with the Madison Police Department — welcomes students to the neighborhood with information on personal safety, parking, garbage pick-up, and issues surrounding noise and vandalism.
