Old University Avenue Corridor Plan
Historical Documents and the Path Ahead
A few years ago, a preliminary plan was prepared to guide development in the University Avenue Corridor. At that time it was determined that more neighborhood discussion was needed to ensure that the plan represented the neighborhood's vision for the corridor. The RNA has now secured help from city planning staff to work with the neighborhood to complete the planning process. The new process officially began at the RNA Spring Meeting on May 19, 2010. Future meetings are listed below. All will be held at the InnTowner, 2424 University Avenue, starting at 7:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 30, 2010: UAC Design Workshop
- Wednesday, July 7, 2010: UAC Design Workshop
- Thursday, September 16, 2010: UAC Open House
- Wednesday, December 1, 2010: UAC Open House
We will revisit the work that went into the 2007 draft plan, in order to keep what is good and refine what isn't. Listed below are links to historical documents that will be of interest as we move forward.
